Accessibility Statement

Gypsy Reports is a community resource for travel healthcare workers, and we want it usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technology. This page is an honest account of where things stand — not a claim of full compliance, but a real commitment we keep working on.

Standard we're aiming for

We're working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard most commonly used to evaluate site accessibility. We haven't had a full third-party audit, so we can't claim full conformance, but we review and fix issues as they're found.

What's already in place

• A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page, so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass the navigation menu instead of tabbing through it on every pageDone
• The mobile menu button and the Databases/Tools/Simulators dropdown menus are announced properly to screen readers, including whether they're currently openDone
• All of our forms — contact, reports, the pay calculator — use properly associated labels, so a screen reader announces what each field is for
• Every page has a clear heading structure and a descriptive page title
• Our spam-prevention honeypot field is hidden from assistive technology (aria-hidden) and skipped in tab order, so it can never trap a screen-reader or keyboard user into accidentally triggering it

Known limitations

We haven't run a full audit against every page on the site, particularly some of the older report-database pages. If you run into something that doesn't work well with assistive technology, please tell us — see below.
