I was told every other weekend when I Interviewed, but scheduled 10 out of 13 weekends. Was NEVER told that I would have to float. Then want to float me to PICU. Had I known about floating, I wouldn't have taken the job. I don't float. Never stepped foot on a PICU ever! My company wasn't aware of the float policy either from the hospital.
