No hospital, equipment, or charting system orientation. A couple hours for orientation on the floor or none. Very little permanent staff and they float you between 3 facilities. They will try to leave you with a post op patient alone. You get your schedule for the next day every night before. You will be the only PACU nurse while on call.

Signed contract for day shift, hospital had me on nights upon arrival. HR had zero record of me arriving that day, so nothing was prepared. Was sent to L&D where I waited around for another several hours.Was finally told to just show up for my shift THAT SAME NIGHT an hour early to finish gaining access, even though I was contracted for days.

No orientation. Poor management. High turnover of employees.

No training, no education and no staff. Nonproticoks or standards. Admin is less than knowledgeable. Unsafe.
