Multiple ICUs and a PICU with a single charge RN, single 'resource' RN for entire hospital. Would float travelers to new 'IMC' which was 6 bed, 2 nurses, isolated from all other units, inappropriate pts. Tried to 'dump' a patient I had refused due to inappropriateness, charge demanded RNs search pt belongings alone. Unsafe.

Constantly rushed, pushed to move your pts out to phase 2 when still on oxygen. Tried to give me another fresh post op while still had an 8 month old unconscious. Made me take a AAA on one side of the room while I had a ph. 2 pt on the other side, separated by a wall, so I couldn't see both pts. The AAA then became hemodynamically unstable, etc.

the schedule is never right, it takes 2 weeks to fix or more. the staff IS NOT helpful to travelers, so be prepared to walk / work your butt off. 45 min if you want epidural, pCa, any drip, iv pole, and you walk 5 miles a day and parking lot is 10min to get to/from.

Signed contract, after 1 week facility stated they made a mistake and wanted travelers for 48 hours instead of agreed upon 36 and made me either take a pay cut or be cancelled. I took a pay cut. Everything else about the facility is great but not honoring a contract is not right.

Spoke up for patient safety. They made up “performance issues” and cancelled my contract.
