This is a very busy place with a very ill patient population. You will learn here. However, this is a toxic environment. You will be there for weeks before others will help with critical patients when you need it. You are responsible for tagging/bagging/calling medical examiner/calling Life Gift/arranging for non-emergent transport, etc. Very clicky.

This place will attempt to get your nursing license revoked if you choose not to renew. There are scheduling issues: example you will be moved and not given 24 hour notice. This place has a very toxic environment unless you are apart of the click. The director & management are very unprofessional. The patient population can be dangerous.

This is a very tough place to work. The patient's are very high acuity. There is only team work if you fit into the click. The ED management is unprofessional and will cancel your contract for you bringing up concerns. The bright side of things is you never have more than 4 patients the down side if one of them is coding no one is watching your other three.
