Constantly. Changes your hours and therefore your pay. Management who is unapproachable and doesn’t help. ‘If you don’t like it, leave’ mentality. Bad pumps and lines. Angry employees who don’t want to be there. Bad food. Small ICU and not many actual ICU patients to take care of.

This level 3 trauma center/11 bed icu is run only by hospitalists. They have an intensivist who does not manage the patients. The core staff abuses the travelers by scheduling (working Mon, Wed, Fri, days or nights), you work almost every weekend. Core staff is mostly not traveler friendly, a few exceptions. If you’re from a larger icu, I would not recommend
