Contract was cancelled 8 weeks in. Stated reasons were call ins, rude to other staff, refused to answer call lights or help. Also stated there was a patient complaint which none of it was true. Called company and cancelled contract with no dialogue about any of the accusations.

Contracted CVICU for Epic conversion but when got there, the 10 travelers were divided among Cardiac service line. ICU RNs working as floor RNs with high patient ratios. No OT. No crossing service lines to MICU or SICU. Worked the floors 90% of the time with floating at 11 or 3. Very clear line between travelers and staff. Variable shifts for everyone.

Busy downtown level 1 trauma and teaching facility. Will run you all nights with patients, but teamwork is great. Plenty of OT. Usually only a few nurses short. Very big department so OT was nearly always available if you want. Technology was terrible and slow with allscripts charting, but they are switching to EPIC. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
