I advised management of night critical care physician turning his phone off and not responding to calls for 8-12 hours. The physician never put orders in for my two new admits. Manager said I should know what to do including ordering appropriate medications. I told them no, I was not practicing out of my scope of practice and was cancelled.

on-call critical care physician did not response to traveler for newly admitted patients. manager told traveler they should have entered medications and orders as appropriate / asking traveler to practice out of her scope.
