Staff were very traveler friendly, and managers were available and helpful. Teaching hospital, so residents are always available. Good support from pharmacy, lab, IV team. There was only one time that I had to take an assignment that was heavier than it should have been due short staffing, but I never felt that my license was in danger.

The staff in the NICU is wonderful, and very travel friendly. 2 units, 2nd floor is sicker babies, open bay concept, 4 teams of 10 babies each. 3rd floor is the grower feeders, private rooms, water bottles allowed outside the rooms where the computers are. Charting is Neonotes and Meditech. Never cancelled, and lots of OT avail. Never floated.

Avg exp level of RNs is < 1 yr. No triage; techs will drop a patient in any open room w/o monitoring & w/o regard to the acuity of other pts. You will hold admitted patients constantly & expect to have your contract cancelled in the last weeks if you are to get a completion bonus. You’ll get no help from anyone & be given the sickest pts one after another.

Routinely will triple with true ICU patients and do this to only travelers. Says it is unsafe to have 2 ventilator patients but will give 3 very busy patients. Unsafe working conditions.

Denied me because I received a verbal warning 3 years ago as a perm staff due to sickness.
