unit is majority travelers, 6:1 ratio, staff rns typically would be given 4 or 5 pts while travelers at 6. Charge RNs are free but unhelpful. Staff RNs will just ignore you, especially if you ask for assistance. Very high acuity and lots of total care pts. Typically no CNA or 1 CNA after 11 pm. They also can float you every 4 hours, very unsafe hospital

Very nice hospital, very organized, protocols for everything, staff well supported. 4:1 ratio on Onc M/S, good ratios for CNAs, too. Sometimes shifts seems to last forever because all the work was done. Maybe best travel assignment (of 25) I've ever had. Worst thing was they did staffing q4h and travelers floated first, so rarely I worked 3 unit in 12 hrs.

Very traveler friendly hospital, they appreciate travelers. They also appreciated my experience since they were a younger staff, and would ask advice on staffing, assignment and general nursing issues. Occasional floating, usually to fellow PCU floors; if floated to m/s they gave a lighter load. Magnet and has very high reviews. Unusual for a rural hospital
