Overall would NOT go back. Almost broke my contract midway. Travelers here get bombarded with work while the staff just watch you drown. If you ask for help you get eyerolls and side eyes. Night shift is VERY cliquish, and petty. Day shift was a lot nicer and supportive. RTs will sit on their phones for 3-4 hours without getting up while they watch you drown

Had my lunch stolen a few times from the break room, even when labeled. Most techs were lazy letting work pile up or hide from work, while me, the lone traveler, was doing work. They were not happy when I called them out. Although, a small handful got the hint and started working.

It's a small ICU but the staff is nice. I got floated at least once a week due to low census in the ICU. You float in rotation with the other staff---They treat you like an equal. They use Meditech charting and half of the charting is still done on paper.
