My contract was cancelled after I called in and refused to float to covid areas without proper PPE. I had been to management on three separate occasions and was assured each time that it would not happen again. The fourth time I declined to work without proper PPE and was cancelled. I had been on assignment for one year at this location.

Dept is in shambles. No sense of responsibility. Lots of lazy nurses who spend more time planning their wedding than working. Saw a “pediatric-trained” MD kill a 5 mo old baby by continually paralyzing it & being unable to intubate, not allowing proper oxygenation in between attempts. You are on your own, no teamwork, hostile nurses, always short-staffed.
