Everything I was told in my phone interview was a blatant lie. I was told 5 patients and the occasional 6th patient but 6-7 pts on med surg was the norm. Rarely any aides/techs overnight and if there was one they were taking care of 30-40 patients so they were of little help. The assignment is made by the unit secretary, absolutely no balance in acuity. RUN.
