Very small (about 80 deliveries/month) and friendly department. Welcoming to travelers. Manager, Yvette is very fair and transparent. She received word of rate decreases and took each traveler aside to inform us personally so we were not caught off guard. I floated once to peds to be a sitter. I would have stayed for an extension had the rates not dropped.

Great place to work. Staff were friendly and mostly willing to help. Nurses expect techs to do all the grunt work, so if you show that’s not you you’ll make friends quick and have a much easier time. Patient ratio 1:5-6 on med/surg with fairly low acuity.
