Pass/cancel math test, and non NICU specific EKG test also required. On average, I float 2/3 shifts to PICU or PCICU, and have barely worked on the unit I was hired for at all. Travelers are first to float, which has become excessive, even though the census is normal. Assignments are on the easier side, but when I float I get sicker kids, which is nice.
