Float pool was surgical, medical, onc, and peds intermediate care. Rarely spent time on those units, primarily nicu/nursery and ED holding. ED holding wildly unsafe at times. This was my first HCA experience, very difficult to get the flow of charting with meditech with very little support. Overall, wouldn’t go back unless I was very desperate for work.
