Unit very hostile towards travelers. Unfair & unsafe assignments. Discussed with managers but it's just the culture of the unit. Much better to be in mom baby

Hired for L&D. During floor orientation many staff stated we travelers would never see L&D only postpartum. Staff c/o being cancelled, too many traveler. Day after orientation was completed, two of us cancelled. Agency was told that we were informed that we would float 85% of the time and one of us said we weren’t comfortable with this. News to us
