The unit mgr outright lied about staffing in night shift travelers’ interviews. Also, I was told the unit was an Observation unit. In reality, it was a dump floor. We got anything and everything, with only 2 nurses and no aides. 10 beds, so 5 pts apiece, but too high acuity to have no CNA. We were nowhere near any other units, so it was actually scary.
