Second worst travel experience. Management gets angry when you punch out late, yet there is a 15-minute huddle at the beginning/end of shifts. Mostly travelers. The core staff are nasty, not at all welcoming. Prepare to have the worst/most acute assignments and run your butt off with patients located all around the unit. Core assignments have good geography.

Never seen patients moved around during one hospitalization so much in my life. TL doesn’t take acuity or patient behavior into account when making assignments. Little to no support when they overload assignments. If any other site has an opening, go there first.

Very traveler friendly, all permanent staff are sweet and willing to help. *Great* teamwork with urgent patients. Doesn't pay the best but accepts first time travelers. ICU *will* be floated to other departments though, cancellations affect permanent staff first.

The nursing staff were wonderful and they worked miracles with what they had. Supplies were limited (putting it midly). And the doctors responded based on what unit you called from (not ok). I actually argued with a dr. Because a pt. Went from 4- 12L o2 and he felt since the day shift didn't do anything then he shouldn't either. Needles to say the pt. Died.

I loved working at Banner. Though I was on nights, I enjoyed work every day because of a good morale and team. This was still my favorite er after 10 contracts. I was offered to extend, but could not due to family obligations. I would return again

Friendly staff but very spread out unit which makes getting to know coworkers difficult. Facility will not overload nurses with heavy assignmemts. Travellers given easier patients.

Because I wasn’t accepting of getting flexed down to 24hrs a week EVERY single week.
