Brand new unit is a plus, no core staff at night. Staffing - 2 Nurses for 18pts
And 1-2 techs. High acuity pts mixed with low acuity. Friendly but challenging! Expensive housing - limited options
Think twice on this one !

One of my best assignments of 20. Wonderful, friendly, helpful, non-backstabbing staff. I was NEVER floated. They floated staff first because they hired me for their unit. I stayed 5 months and would absolutely go back. Maine is beautiful, but I wouldn’t stay into winter.

Covid. Hospital had to lay off 70 of their own people. Cancelled all surgeries, appointments and more. They were very fair about it and gave me two weeks notice.
