4-5 patients at most, but usually 4. Loved the management, staff was very friendly, welcoming, helpful. Floating to other units wasn’t as good, but cardiac tele unit felt like a team. Neuro tele wasn’t a bad place to float to but otherwise not a fan of the floats.

Med surg here is horrible. always 6 patients and no nursing assistants and the mean charge nurse give you the worst assignments. I floated to tele a lot and it was a blessing. Whenever I actually worked on 3N it was always a terrible night.

Generally your ratio is 1:4, very occasionally you might have 5 but they’re usually a lower acuity patient. Charge nurses are all lovely. Management cares about their staff happiness and great listeners. 50/50 chance if you have CNAs but they’re lazy anyway so you end up doing all your own stuff so it didn’t matter. All nurses here are nice helpful friendly.

Hospital is very old w/ even older equipment, but both pale in comparison to the Mgt in the RT Dept. Lies, forgetful, very unorganized. Great staff overall just bad mgt and equipment.

Floated every shift after asking specifically in interview about floating. Staff is rude and unfriendly. Dangerous area-lots of theft on campus plus the fact that a lot of restaurants won’t deliver to there. Micromanagement bc they’ve been in trouble so many times with State and you have no say so in your schedule. I was scheduled 3 weekends in a row.

Spent 80% of contract floated to telemetry. Obviously over-hiring ICU RNs to staff telemetry floors but denies frequent floating outside of unit during interview. Frequently tripled with true ICU patients when in ICU. Poor cleanliness of facility with multiple complaints from patients.
