This place is a patient safety nightmare and I can’t wait to leave. 7:1 ratio on day shift and more on nights. This is a very high acuity ED, so you could have several high acuity/ICU patients. It happens frequently. There are more hallway beds than beds in rooms and patients who are not hallway appropriate are assigned to hallway beds often.
