Never enough nurses working. There is a very clear line of staff vs. Travelers. Staff always has way easier assignments with a 1:3 ratio. Travelers always get the 1:4/1:5 with MULTIPLE ICU holds. Weekday ccharge bever helps and always disappears to get food. The worst contract I've ever been on.

One 13 week contract, water to extend, no need, then tacitly offers an extension after I secured my next assignment.
Level 3, no big surgeries. HFOV, Conventional vent, HFNC, CPAP, NC.
2 person sterile central TPN change. Busy unit, but safe Assignments. 2-3 babies, based on acuity. Step-down unit on separate floor, travelers work rhereslot, I loved it!

Bed board is on a different floor runs all the floors. A. Nurse could be overworked but have an open room, bed board giving her a patient. Charge nurse says get report. If the travel nurse says anything.... they respond with welcome to phoebe. patients leave from ICU who arent ready ..prepare a rapid . ICU pts on mes/surg..... unsafe
